SHE+ Foundation is seeking dedicated individuals to bring their unique talents, perspectives, and expertise to our committees and board. By serving on our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape impactful programs, support innovative research, and help foster a community where everyone can access the resources and care they deserve. Executive Committee

The Executive Committee, consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, oversees board operations, resolves conflicts, manages committee assignments, and facilitates activities of other committees. It meets bi-monthly to review policies, support succession planning, and make recommendations to the full Board.

Development Committee

The Development Committee leads fundraising and resource development projects for the Board of Directors. It establishes annual fundraising goals, promotes events like Giving Tuesday and the Annual Gala, and facilitates best practices for fundraising efforts. The committee also supports major gifts, sponsorships, and donor recruitment, meeting bi-monthly to coordinate activities and provide recommendations to the Board.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees financial policies, goals, and budgets to support the SHE+ Foundation’s mission. It ensures budget compliance, sets financial goals, monitors performance, and educates the Board on fiscal responsibility. The committee reviews and approves the annual budget and financial goals, meeting bi-monthly to make recommendations to the Board.

Governance Committee

The Governance Committee focuses on board health, development, and leadership. It maintains bylaws and charters, ensures committees are appropriately staffed, recruits diverse board members, and recommends effective governance policies. The committee also facilitates the Annual Board Retreat and meets bi-monthly to make recommendations to the Board.
