With support from the Patty Brisben Foundation in 2018 and 2019, the IAPMD launched a program designed to support women facing the impact and abruptness of surgical menopause. The program provides support and resources to approximately 90,000 women each year. The program also resulted in continuing education and training for patients and providers and a smartphone app that provided around 20,000 users with the same invaluable information.
